Restaurants
You could ask a dozen Conway residents where to get a bite to eat and get a dozen different preferences, but here are a few suggestions.
Try the Cajun cuisine at Mike’s Place, the restaurant that started the renaissance of downtown Conway. Or have some Italian comfort food in an upscale atmosphere at Michelangelo’s; this gem in downtown also has rooftop dining and a happening happy hour. Want great Italian but don’t have the time to sit down? Call in your order to Stromboli’s, a great mom and pop place on Donaghey Avenue serving handmade strombolis, pizzas, salads, desserts and more.
For fresh American favorites, visit Oak Street Bistro at Oak Street and Fourth Avenue or Marketplace Grill. The Fish House serves southern fare at your table, and Catfish and More has those offerings buffet-style. Craving Mexican food? Try El Acapulco or La Hacienda, both on Skyline Drive. Or, for a down-home, peanuts-on-the-floor steakhouse experience, go to Colton’s Steakhouse on Oak Street. For breakfast, visit Ed’s Custom Bakery for fresh doughnuts or pastries.
